Intro to Phenix App
Worldwide, 1/3 of what we produce is going to waste. If food waste was a country, it would be the 3rd greenhouse gas emitter. Originated from France in 2019, Phenix mobile app was launched in Hong Kong in 2021 with the mission to reduce the amount of unsold food going into landfills!

Our Hong Kong team provides a B2C mobile solution connecting Food & Beverage industry to the local consumers on daily unsold food, with localised app tailored made to Hong Kong users, we successfully saved 7,600 kg of food in one year.
My job scope

As the sole marketing manager at Phenix, I'm responsible on all round user acquisition campaigns to recruit consumers as well as attracting business to join the platform.
Public Relations
This new concept is picked up by major media publishers in Hong Kong in which I pitched media and represent Phenix as the presenter.

Social Media Strategy + Media Buy
Grow the social channels from 0 to over 4K followers on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn with brand collaboration such as Impossible Foods, Pret A Manger and more. Experienced in Google and Facebook Ad Manager.

I curated 3 bilingual press releases to pitch media on Phenix launch and special campaigns. Over 100 pieces of press coverage are collected throughout the year.
